Patent attorneys are subject to the Patent Attorneys’ Act (BGBl. I 1966, 557; BIPMZ 1966, 313; last amended by Art. 5 of the Act of 30.10.2017 (BGBl. I p. 3618)) and to the Professional Code of Conduct for Patent Attorneys (resolution of 20 November 2013, effective as of 1 March 2014). They are also members of the Fédération Internationale des Conseils en Propriété Industrielle (FICPI) and subject to its professional regulations (www.ficpi.com).
The European Patent Attorneys (authorized representatives before the European Patent Office) of FLACH BAUER & PARTNER are registered with the European Patent Office and are members of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the EPO (www.patentepi.com). They are subject to the professional conduct rules set out in epi Information 2/2001, 75, and the disciplinary regulations issued by the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation.
